In difference from other models, filters LON do not require any supply of compressed air. Also at the filters of this type may be applied tissues that do not have high strength characteristics, because the tissue does not have tension, all loads are carried out by rubber reinforced belt. Filtration is carried out through a filter cloth fixed to the outer surface of the rubber-drainage belt.
An optimal dewatering is achieved by adjusting the rotation speed of the belt using an AC frequency converters.
Optionally the filter can be equipped with a device for measuring the sediment volume, which allows to determine the current and the total capacity on the bone dry weight with sufficient precision.
